Q: WPVivid Staging plugin works with (custom domain) premium website?
I'm testing a free staging website and want to use the WPVivid staging plugin to check if it works with it, but it blocks the website after creating the staging through the plugin. So I want to know that this happens only with free staging sites or it is also not supported by (custom domain) premium websites too? Because it is very helpful to make a staging site on a (custom domain) premium website to check whether the plugin updates are stable or not, and if it looks stable, then push the updated data of the plugin to the live site.
You're right to notice the seeming contradiction. The phrase "no expiry" refers to the nature of the hosting itself—as opposed to temporary/demo sites that expire after 2 or 7 days. With this AppSumo deal, the hosting you get is valid for 1 year, and you can renew it annually under the same favorable conditions you're enjoying now.
I appreciate your responsiveness to my other questions.
Another question: For site management, etc., especially for a large quantity of sites, does TasteWP eliminate the need.for site management through something like MainWP?
We do offer some level of site management. However, MainWP—being specifically focused on that—likely offers many features we don’t. The best approach would be to try it out and see what fits your needs best. You can explore TasteWP for free by signing up at https://tastewp.com and checking out the dashboard options, which will give you a good sense of what we provide.

Q: Push WP, Theme and Plugin Updates Across Sites?
Hi Nick,
I am really excited about your hosting platform.
I need the ability to easily replicate a site with the exact same WP setup, plugin and theme stack across numerous sites, along with the ability to add new sites easily and quickly with the same infrastructure.
My goal is standardization and scale. It looks like TasteWP does exactly this.
However, I have several questions:
1. Since the original focus was staging, how are updates handled? Are they easily and seamlessly pushed to the active sites or do they have to be done manually, one-by-one?
2. What security management, if any, is included?
3. Do you plan to offer any agency features or dashboard?
4. Can we stack top tier plans for more domains at renewal if needed?
5. If a real need arises for additional subdomains, will consider on a case-by-case basis?
A: Thank you for your questions—great to hear you're excited about the platform!
Let me address each point:
1. Updates & Deployment: Currently, updates need to be done manually. However, it's quite simple—you can create a backup on the staging site and restore it to production as needed.
2. Security Management: We handle security at the hosting infrastructure level. For site-specific protection, we recommend using well-known WordPress security plugins (e.g., Wordfence, iThemes Security).
3. Agency Features: TasteWP includes a dashboard where you can manage all your client sites. If you were referring to specific agency tools or multi-client management features, let us know—we’re open to feedback.
4. Plan Stacking: We don’t currently support later stacking of top-tier plans (at AppSumo conditions). However, feel free to contact us directly—we’re happy to work something out, such as offering volume-based discounts.
5. Subdomains: At the moment, one subdomain per site is supported. We are exploring options to allow more, but we can't promise a specific timeline yet.
Please don’t hesitate to reach out with further questions—we’re here to help!
Thank you for your quick response. Once final thing to confirm:

Yes, you can do this with TasteWP — we call it "Site Templates." However, this particular deal is a bit separate, as it's focused on ensuring sites don't expire.
We recommend trying out your idea directly on TasteWP to see how it works in practice. If you have any questions or run into issues, feel free to reach out to us at hi [at] tastewp [dot] org — we're happy to help!
Q: local site limit?
Is there a limit to how many LOCAL sites we can make on any tier? ie: Are the limits only for online-hosted sites, or for ALL sites created in any environment? Thank you
We don’t offer any “local” sites — all sites are fully online and publicly accessible. The main difference is between free sites, which expire after 2 days (or 6 days if you're logged in when you create them), and premium sites, which never expire. This AppSumo deal allows you to create premium sites.
If you have any other questions, feel free to ask!
You're right—the wording is a bit confusing. Since we're a web-based service, they can never be truly local. What we meant to convey is that they are not intended for public access, and because the URLs are not publicly known, the public cannot access them.

Q: saw host site with no expiry date?
"Host your site permanently with no expiry date
Get up to 20GB of storage on high-performance servers"
But access is 1 year?

Thanks for your response. So why does your listing say this?
"Work smarter with local staging sites
Even better, you can create local staging sites to test changes safely..."
You're right—the wording is a bit confusing. Since we're a web-based service, they can never be truly local. What we meant to convey is that they are not intended for public access, and because the URLs are not publicly known, the public cannot access them.
