Q: FORM SUBMITTERS FEATURE
how does this work for the account itself - are form submitters "guests" - seats against the account? I would like a customer to be able to provide information, see their own submissions and edit or update them.
Track Form Submitters
Enabling this feature will automatically collect form submitter information so form responses can be traced to specific individuals. A few notes about expected behavior:
Form submitters will be asked to log into Teable (if they aren’t already logged in on their browser) or create a Teable user account so their name and email address can be collected with their form submission.
The responder’s information will appear in the “Created By” field in the table where the form was created.

Apr 16, 2026A: Great question! Here's how it works:
Are form submitters counted as seats?
No. When "Require Login Submit" is enabled, users are asked to log in or create a Teable account solely for identification purposes. They are not added as collaborators to your space and do not count against your seat limit.
Can submitters view and edit their own submissions?
You can achieve this using Share View:
1. Create a Grid View on your table
2. Use filters to show only the relevant records (e.g., filter by Created By)
3. Enable Share View and send the shared link to your customers
Currently, shared views are read-only, but we have "Allow Edit" on our roadmap — once released, your customers will be able to add new records and edit existing ones directly through the Share Link, without needing a form at all.

thank you!
