Q: Hi, is it possible that you will add a condition to the answers?

What I mean is I'd like people to tell me how committed they are to start working with me, if 8 or more I'd like to redirect them to my calendar, if the number is less than 8, it would not be possible. Can you help me?

A: Hey, nataliaziajka!

This isn't really how TidyCal was meant to be used, and I don't think it's really generally a solution that calendar providers can solve. My suggestion is to solve it further upstream: Use a form tool with conditional responses, and if they respond over a certain number in the form, redirect them to your TidyCal page (or TidyCal on an embedded page).

When they get to the calendar page, they're already kinda there — so that's why it's probably a better practice to solve further upstream with solutions (like form tools) that already have complex forking and conditional displaying.

Appreciate your response, but Calendly does have this feature and allows for much more efficient scheduling of meetings with motivated clients or clients that fit the criteria. Would have been a nice add-on.

I'm looking for this as well. We get a lot of inquiries, and people wanting to book time, but I want to redirect the 'not-a-fit' clients to a standard page, or to a different calendar with my assistant, and only schedule meetings on mine with the ones that meet the 'fit. Calendly has this feature already.

Totally understand, bhaskar.knp. Thanks for your feedback here.

To clarify, we're not looking to copy Calendly. Firstly, because it's simply not possible — they have 600+ employees (!) and have been in business 10+ years (!!). Because we're extremely low cost, we simply can't match their features one-to-one... nor do we intend to.

Our focus is a SIMPLER and more AFFORDABLE calendar solution for solopreneurs, consultants, and contractors. This means that there are many features we don't have, nor will we ever do.

At the same time, it doesn't mean we're not developing any features. Not even close. Anyone who's been with TidyCal over the past couple years knows we've released over 1,000 (!!!) updates for our users — all at no additional costs in their existing plans. We'll keep improving TidyCal as much as we can, but for more advanced settings or edge cases, we recommend people find another tool that's intended to be more advanced.
