Q: How Do I Upgrade?

I have already purchased Tier 1 at $29, and would like to upgrade to Tier 2 at $69. When I add the product to cart, I am requested to pay $69 instead of $40 for the upgrade. I have also tried to upgrade from within my TidyCal profile. What am I doing wrong?

A: Hey, OnlineApprentice! My guess here is that you're logged into a different AppSumo account than the one you originally purchased TidyCal. Otherwise, you *should* see the option to upgrade/enhance your existing tier (and pay only the differential).

Same issue. I only have one AppSumo account so it's not that issue.

Thanks for your fast reply, but I have double-checked and my TidyCal account email is the same as my AppSumo account. I can also see my TidyCal purchase in my AppSumo account, but I do not see an option to upgrade. I will email support@appsumo as you have suggested.

It works for me from the bought products page. There, where you can see the invoice as well, you should be able to "change plan".

I'm also trying to upgrade, and don't see any upgrade option in my tidycal account or on this page or the products page. I can also verify that I'm using the same email address for both. I'll email support as well.

I did end up buying the tier 2 license and using my $25 off plus coupon on it, but somehow I made it to a place where I could change my account level on the license, but I'm not sure how I got there, and it wanted $55 to change the license from Tier 1 to Tier 2. :-/ It was by going to my product license inside my appsumo account, and was at the bottom of the page. You can now select choose plan.

Hi RGroot, on my Products page I can see the 'Invoice' and 'Redemption Information', but that is it. Everything else is greyed out, with no option to upgrade or 'Change plan'. Thanks for taking the time to try and help, though πŸ‘

Same here as everyone else ... only option is to purchase tier 2 at full price not the difference between tier 1 (previously purchased with same account) and tier 2.

Same here. I see $29 T1 option and $69 T2 options. But no $40 upgrade option.

My problem is that I used a 25$ plus coupon and 3.6$ credits. Somehow upgrade only counts from the 3.6$ credits so the upgrade for me is 25$ more expensive..... that's a rip off... :(

Really want to upgrade but not at full price...

I have the same problem. There is no upgrade to Tier 2 available from my previous Tier 1 purchase page. I want to buy today in order get the additional discount.

I also paid $69 to upgrade from Tier 1 to Tier 2. :( Sent an email to support.

Having contacted support, if you already have TidyCal as a Plus Exclusive Freebie, you do not have the ability to upgrade to Tier 2. You have to purchase the full package. You also have to register with a separate email address. I have just purchased for $69 before the price increases, and I will now contact support to see if I can delete and reopen the account with same email. So frustrating!

If you go into your account, find TidyCal under your products, click the dropdown, and select "Change Plan," you should be able to upgrade. It works here.

Now being told that my TidyCal was a freebie with my AppSumo plus. I'm quite sure that's not true and that I paid $29 for TidyCal. And, of course, this didn't get resolved until after the price increase. I love Tidycal...but not so much anymore after this terrible customer service.

Appsumo did that to me also. Very bad service Dylan AS :(
