Q: Is this suitable for Tour Operators?
Can TidyCal be used by tour operators for the booking of their excursions?

TidyCal can work for basic tour/excursion booking, but it's primarily a scheduling tool rather than a dedicated tour management platform. Here's what you'd be able to do:
What works well for tours:
- Set up group bookings with a maximum capacity per time slot (e.g., 20 spots per excursion), with optional display of remaining seats
- Collect payment at the time of booking via Stripe
- Add custom booking questions (e.g., "How many people in your group?", dietary requirements, pickup location, etc.)
- Set a physical address / meeting point as the booking location
- Enable an approval workflow so you can review and approve bookings before they're confirmed
- Offer recurring tours on a set schedule
- Booking page supports 39 languages
Limitations to be aware of:
- Pricing is per booking, not per person — so if you need to charge $50/person for a group of 4, you'd need the customer to handle that outside TidyCal or set it as a flat rate per slot
- No built-in waitlist if a tour fills up
- No inventory management system across multiple tour dates
If your needs are straightforward (fixed-price excursions, set schedules, manageable group sizes), TidyCal can definitely handle that. If you need per-person pricing, complex inventory, or waitlists, a dedicated tour booking platform might be a better fit.
