Q: Marketing and Branding

I see complaints about marketing and branding, which I don't have a problem with as long as it's the same as the test booking on the AppSumo product page. It would be nice to have a higher tier available to get rid of it, or even an optional, small monthly charge, but it's plainly shown. So I have two questions:
1. Does the minimal branding in the AppSumo deal match the branding in the example booking page and emails?
2. I see complaints about you marketing other products to AppSumo subscribers:
a) Do those emails come from the same email address as the booking confirmations and reminders?
b) I'm OK with marketing to ME, but I need to know that my clients that book with me will remain private and will not be subjected to any emails from TidyCal, other than the transactional booking confirmation emails.

Thanks for the questions!

1. Branding on booking pages & emails
Yes — what you saw on the AppSumo product page test booking is exactly what’s in the AppSumo deal.
The branding is minimal: a small “Powered by TidyCal” line on booking pages and emails. There is no heavy co-branding or promotional banners inside client-facing confirmations.

2. Marketing emails & client privacy
a) Any marketing emails from AppSumo Originals (like updates about TidyCal or other tools) go only to the account owner’s email address (the one you signed up with). These come from AppSumo/TidyCal, not from the same transactional channel as booking confirmations.
b) Your clients’ emails are never added to any TidyCal or AppSumo marketing list. Clients will only receive:
- Booking confirmations
- Reminders
- Cancellation/reschedule notices
All of these are transactional emails, sent on your behalf.
