SMS Reminders

Question

On your main website, you have a green checkmark indicating that SMS reminders are included in the agency plan. Yet, when I read the FAQs here, it sounds like there is no SMS.

Can you please confirm the feature, if it is included, and if there is an SMS send limit in the agency plan?

Hello iGoByDoc,\u000a\u000aThank you for your email!\u000aWe are happy to explain!\u000a\u000a\u002D Yes, SMS Reminders are currently active, but still in beta testing.\u000a\u002D They are only available for Agency accounts and for attendees with U.S. and Canadian phone numbers.\u000a\u002D SMS messages are sent natively through TidyCal—no third\u002Dparty tools like Zapier are required.\u000a\u002D Each Agency account includes 20 SMS segments per month, with one segment covering up to 160 characters per message.\u000a\u002D For SMS to work, you\u0027ll need to collect the attendee’s phone number during booking.\u000a\u000aIf beta testing goes well, we will add a full SMS documentation, and once it\u0027s available, you’ll find it in the Help Center.\u000a\u000aWith kind regards!

OK, this is cool. Thank you. So, if in beta, and you only get 20 per month, once out of beta will it expand to more than 20 segments per month? Or, will there be some way to purchase more? I can imagine larger teams needing more than 20 segments.

SMS reminders are included with the Agency Plan. They’re currently limited to 20 messages per month and can only be sent to recipients in the US and Canada.
