Costinha77Q: Clarification Needed on Map Limits vs. Credit Usage Across Tiers (Tiers need to reflect 100%)
I have some doubts regarding the number of maps that can be created per tier versus the required amount of credits.
The issue is straightforward: on your website and landing page, you always mention credits (check your pricing page https://topicalmap.ai/upgrade), which obviously depend on the selected LLM. More expensive LLMs naturally consume more credits.
However, none of the tiers or packs listed here on AppSumo specify the number of credits. They only mention the number of maps allowed/reeset on each month. This makes the pricing model seem confusing and hard to understand.
Please clarify me and maybe it would be also good to ask AppSumo to adapt the Tier tables according to your pricing scheme, as it is difficult to make a comparison. thank you in advance.

Great question and thanks for raising it. You're right that the AppSumo listing currently shows only the maps quota. Each tier also includes a monthly credit pool that covers the extra AI features (content briefs, draft intros, SERP analysis, map refresh, monitoring).
Tier 1 (Starter): 15 maps/month + 50 credits/month
Tier 2 (Pro): 35 maps/month + 150 credits/month
Tier 3 (Pro Plus): 75 maps/month + 300 credits/month
Tier 4 (Pro Max): 150 maps/month + 500 credits/month
1 map generation = 1 credit, and the credit pool on every tier is larger than the maps quota so you can run every map you're entitled to and still have credits left for the other AI features. For reference, a content brief costs 0.25 credits, a draft intro 0.1 credits, a manual map refresh 0.5 credits, and active monitoring is 0.5 credits per map per month.The reason maps and credits look like two numbers is that they are: maps are the headline quota, credits fund everything else. I'll work with AppSumo to get the tier tables updated so the credit allowance is visible alongside the maps count. Thanks for flagging it.
