The closest thing TMAI does today is competitor gap analysis, you enter your competitors' URLs and get back the topics they cover that you don't. That's useful for identifying what your topical map is missing.

Enter your own URL, automatically detect your current topical structure, and tell you what pillars you're missing. The workflow you're describing would require crawling your site, mapping its existing content into clusters, then comparing against the "ideal" topical map for your niche. It's been on my mind but it's not built today.

The current workflow most users follow: generate a topical map for your niche (TMAI builds the ideal structure), then manually compare against your existing content to identify gaps. Competitor gap analysis adds another layer running competitors' URLs to see what they cover that you don't.

Search volume, competition, difficulty. When DataForSEO has no data for a keyword, the UI shows "no data" rather than fabricated numbers.

If you want a "real-search-demand-first" workflow, where every keyword in the map is anchored to demonstrated search volume from the start — that's on my medium-term roadmap (1-3 months), but the current flow is "AI generates structure first, real data enriches after."

TMAI is genuinely useful for topical structure and clustering. Volume data is real keywords with honest "no data" markers where coverage is thin. For "tell me what my existing site is missing", not the right tool today, though competitor gap analysis gets you part of the way.
