Great concept, hope it'll improve
The concept is great especially as there are already others on the market that charge monthly. Each function does take a lot of waiting to perform. I haven't been able to edit the duration of words despite following the instructions. I'm hoping these will improve as the product matures and that they'll add the ability to record from multiple locations (something the other options on the market already offer).

Trebble Needs More Development Time: Great concept, but needs significant technical improvements before it's ready for reliable use.
I tested Trebble after purchasing it, hoping for a Descript alternative. Unfortunately, my experience was frustrating. I uploaded a simple 42-second audio file, and after waiting over two hours, the tool produced nothing—literally zero output.
I'm disappointed because I genuinely want this to succeed. The concept is exactly what I need, and I can tell the developer is working hard on it. However, for a tool that's been around for a while, the execution falls short of expectations. Basic audio processing should be reliable and reasonably fast.
The core functionality simply isn't working properly. Processing time is unreasonably long (or infinite, in my case), and there's no clear feedback on what's happening or why the audio processing while user waits. It actually showed 100% yet outputted nothing.
I'm requesting a refund for now. This isn't to discourage the developer. I genuinely hope they continue improving Trebble as it's the only reasonable alternative to Descript at the moment. However, I'll wait until I see verified reviews confirming the platform has become more stable and functional before investing again.

Oct 11, 2025Hi Jamoooret,
Thanks a lot for sharing your feedback and I’m really sorry you ran into this issue. What you described definitely isn’t normal behaviour for Trebble. Most files, especially short ones like yours, are usually processed within seconds, so this might be something specific to your file or computer setup.
I’d love to get to the bottom of it. Could you please reach out to us via the...

Not working properly
The idea is good but on Google Chrome it's not working, the site it's always crashing and some videos are only 28sec after I had a lot of work to edit it (after edit it should be 3min but the download is only 28sec). Hope the site will be better and more stable soon.

Sep 28, 2025Thanks for sharing your feedback! 🙏 We did have a temporary issue affecting Chrome that caused crashes and shortened exports. The good news is that this has since been resolved, and everything should now run smoothly and reliably.
We truly appreciate your patience while we worked on this, and we’d love for you to give Trebble another try. It should feel much more stable now. If you still run...

Editing becomes a pleasure
I bought Trebble two years ago, but I was mostly using Audacity for a podcast. I like Audacity, because it does so much, and Descript, but for my needs, Trebble is perfect, and so pleasant to use. Editing is finally pleasurable! And their Support alone is worth five stars. My favorite purchase on AppSumo.

Very simple and intuitive
I am a professor and leadership coach, so I need an editing app for both audio (podcast-style recordings) and video (short lecture or how-to videos). I was an early adopter of Descript because of its intuitive, text-based interface. Over time, though, Descript has added many features and requires some re-learning every time I use it (maybe once every month or two).
Enter Trebble. Think of it as a simpler, more intuitive, cleaner version of Descript. While it has more features to explore, I've been satisfied with the basics: upload a video (mp4), remove filler words and speech anomalies, enhance voice, and remove or minimize background noise - plus, if needed, remove or add sections - then export as an mp3 for audio use. That's really what I need and what Trebble is doing well so far.
