Could we use external tag managers to trigger events in truconversion if we buy pro version with js functionality. Is the js trigger only for the funnels or also forms and surveys?

There are other areas in the application that use JavaScript and event triggers.
You can use JavaScript triggers with session recordings to trigger the recording to start and you an add custom events when a form is submitted if we're unable to identify the submission on the page.
