I run Shopify stores and manage ad traffic, so I'm always trying to figure out why people click an ad but don't buy. TruConversion has been a solid way to see that without paying monthly for a Hotjar-style tool.

What I use most:

Session recordings: Watching real visitors move through a product page and bounce before checkout shows you things your analytics never will. Slow-loading sections, ignored add to cart buttons, confusing variants, you can see all of it.

Heatmaps: Click and scroll maps tell me if people actually reach my reviews, shipping info and CTA. I've used them to move things higher on the page.

Smart funnels: I can track product page > cart > checkout and see exactly where people drop off. This is the part that matters when you're testing creatives and landing pages and need to know if the problem is the ad or the store.

Form analytics: Handy for checkout and email capture forms to see which fields cause friction.

Setup was just one tracking code, and it works with Shopify.

Pros:
- Funnels, heatmaps, recordings, form analytics and surveys in one dashboard
- Simple enough that I'm not digging through reports
- Lifetime deal is a big saving for anyone running multiple stores

Things to know:
- If you run a lot of traffic across many domains, check the page view limits on your tier
- Still a smaller tool than the big names, so a few integrations are missing
