TruConversion is a good alternative to Hotjar and similar tools.

When we first started using the app we found a lot of bugs, but the support team was quick to respond and fixed them very quickly.

The microsurveys are great, especially as they allow branching of the questions. When customizing the theme for the microsurveys there are 15 settings required to match the theme to the branding of the website. Unfortunately there is no way to save these as a custom theme, so you have to set them each time you create a microsurvey. We’d like to see a way to save and default to a custom theme for each website.

Other things we’d like to see in the future:

Webhooks, so we can connect to any CRM of our choice.

An integration with Omniconvert, so we can record user behaviour for our A/B tests. They already integrate with Hotjar and Inspectlet.

A much higher contrast ratio for the text in the backend of the app. The pale grey colour fails accessibility tests!
