TubeOnAI is highly praised for its efficient summarization of videos, podcasts, and articles, its ability to consolidate various sources of information, and its user-friendly interface. Some users have reported occasional glitches, language translation errors, and slow customer support response times. Despite these minor drawbacks, TubeOnAI is a solid buy for those in need of a content repurposing tool. With an overall rating of 4.3 and a 60-day money-back guarantee, it's worth giving it a try.

as hobbyist I give it full marks or tacos

I am liking the software ( tubeonai)

there has been a few bugs but support fixes them

which is always a good sign as it is a major part of a new software

I am not a power user but it has been good for the times I have used it

I am in love with this app.

I really love this app, and I am someone who works with YouTube, so this is a lifesaver for me.

However, there are a few minor bugs that should be addressed:

1. When a video is deleted from the feed, it still reappears after refreshing the page. It takes a lot of time to get deleted from the feed; it's not instant. It's usually expected that when you delete something, it's gone, but here it shows.
2. The release time is confusing. A video that was recently uploaded on YouTube shows on the website as “a few hours ago” or “X hours ago,” which is not correct.
The third issue is that there are reasoning AIs that I expected when purchasing the highest tier. Most of them are listed in the help files for TubeOn AI, but I only see OpenAI 5 versions, which is disturbing.

The most important suggestion is that, as a highest‑tier customer, I should be given the option to BYOK. This would allow me to be more productive, because the current lack of BYOK is a major shortcoming.

If I don’t have the BYOK option, I can achieve the same results that TubeOne AI provides using other automation tools or by creating my own automation with free online services. This gap is significant.I’m giving an honest review.

I was reading a few comments on AppSumo about the product being bombarded with emails. This issue can be resolved by disabling notifications in the settings. If you use Google, like me, many extensions create small tabs in Gmail. You can then search TubeOn AI with a button, which displays all those emails. There are many possible outcomes.

This issue does not warrant downgrading the product. It is very promising, and I hope that, over time, its efficiency and services will improve, which are already more than enough for me. I am really very happy with it.

Really useful on a daily basis!

I've fallen into a habit of watching YouTube videos for information, and TubeOnAI is exactly the tool I've been looking for: Instead of having to watch a whole 15- to 30-minute video to see if there's anything worthwhile in it, I can get a good summary *really* quickly. Then I can decide whether or not to watch the video, to delete it from my feeds, or to save a Markdown-friendly version of the summary to keep in my "second brain".

(Devs: I'd like it if the summary contained a link to the original video, just for later reference.)

I haven't tested the content-creation functions yet, but I cranked this up to Tier 3 just because I really enjoy using the tool and prefer not having to think about credits or limits. I've been generating summaries like mad for a week now, and I've barely made a dent in my credit allowance.

I've run into a tiny glitch here or there, but I'm really not bothered by them; they're drastically outweighed by how amazing this tool is at taming YouTube.

Some really good and some really bad

First off, customer support response times can vary drastically. The last go around took about a week to get a response.

But as far as the product goes, the overall concept is promising. And it delivers on that promise in several ways.

Having videos from creators you sub transcribed and brought into one inbox is nice for the most part.

The problem is that your inbox gets slammed with the overwhelm of chaos and disorganization and it's absolutely painful trying to organize it all with no way to batch them into collections and no labels on the videos telling you if or what collection a video is in. It would really help to have the option to auto add videos to collections based on the subscriber.

Additionally:

Transcriptions regularly show up in the wrong language.

Batch transcribing and downloading videos from a channel never worked for me.

And lots of other bugs rared their ugly heads.

Overall, I think this tool is decent, but I ultimate returned it because for a tool that's supposed to make my life easier it was beginning to feel like too much work dealing with my inbox disorganization, bugs, and poor communication from support.

You're going to be bombarded with spam (very aggressive)

Real example: Today alone, March 17, 2027, I received nine emails between 9:20 AM and 10:50 AM.

This company's inhumane behavior is deplorable, shameful, and aggressive. They ignore formal emails requesting cancellation and continue to bombard you with spam.

AppSumo should protect its community and penalize companies like this.

In the end, we'll realize it's not worth buying if you're essentially selling your soul to the devil.

I've saved all the emails in case AppSumo wants proof.

Hi,

We’re truly sorry for the experience you had—that’s not the standard we aim for at all.
What happened was a technical mistake on our side during a campaign setup, which caused emails to be sent to a broader group of users than intended, and at a much higher frequency within a short time. This was not intentional, and we completely understand how frustrating and intrusive it must have...
