Before the customer can chat with the chatbot (or during the chat itself), the chatbot will prompt the end-user for their info that we (admins) as for, such as first/last name, email, customer website (if applicable), maybe even phone and/or address (if we opt to ask for those items). Then the chatbot will automatically create an end-user contact in the CRM system with this information. This makes it a great way for the chatbot to be able to let new and old customers do Q&A about our business, while also ensuring that we scrape and retain their info into our CRM for future follow-up conversations or pitches.
