I'm particularly interested in the desktop app over the extension.
1. Can I expect similar features to OBS Studio in the upcoming desktop app, such as the ability to select specific windows (like browser window)/monitors for recording?
2. Will I be able to record only a portion of the screen with the desktop app?
3. Will there be an option to mute system sounds in the desktop app to prevent them from being recorded?
4. I'm excited about the potential inclusion of a blur feature. Will it be also available in the desktop app?

May 15, 2024A: Hey There. Let me see if I can answer all the questions you have. As a note, while our desktop app is going through the solutioning process now, we're in the middle of rearchitecting our entire platform to make sure desktop app will work properly.
1. Yes, we'll allow you select a specific window.
2. Yep, recording only a portion of your screen will be possible with our desktop app (we're going to add this to our chrome extension as well).
3. We haven't thought of that yet, but something we can add. The challenge with this we can be selective on what is muted so it has to be an all or nothing thing from our understanding. Happy to hear more if you have other thoughts around this.
4. Yep, blur will be in the desktop app for sure!
