Q: Hey there!

🙌

Just had a few friendly questions pop up about Vento that I was hoping you could help me with: 😊

- Just making sure, are you all set with GDPR? ✅
- Where's home base for you guys? 🌍
- And where are your servers hanging out? 🖥️
- What happens when my meetings run over the 60-minute mark? ⏰
- I know I can save the videos (awesome feature, by the way 😎), but can I share them directly via Vento?
- Also, for how long do you keep online videos saved up? 🎥

Appreciate the help in understanding these! 😄

Best vibes,
DGBizz 🚀

A: Hey there!

Thanks for the questions:

1. GDP - yes we meet the standards of GDPR however, we need to update our privacy policy and processing data selection. (We can do this manually but we need to give our users access to this) This will be updated when we do signup by email (next major release from us).

2. Home base for us is Canada and the USA! We have two engineers and 1 person on product.

3. If your meeting runs over the 60 minutes mark, Vento will turn off automatically. We don’t offer unlimited recordings at this moment in order to save costs. It’s the only way we could offer a LTD :)

4. Our servers are in the U.S and Canada (or really stay are spun up in those regions). Our servers are ephemeral which means that are only available when a secure client connects. This also helps us with costs. The connection is encrypted and our servers are hosted on Google Cloud Platform. Vento data is stored in a supabase a secure Postgres based application.

5, Sharing videos - yes! You can share videos!! There’s a link option built into vento where you can share your vento directly by link!

6. Online videos are saved forever or until you decide to delete them! They are gone forever once that happens.
