WhitneyLAQ: Nice, simple alternative to loom.
Couple questions:
1. Does the paid version remove ads? I saw one above the vid and at the end of the vid which is not a great user experience.
2. There is no way to stop a recording if we hide the "vento.so is sharing your screen" notice at the bottom. We have to navigate back to the recording page to end the vid. Do you plan on adding a small toolbar for us?
3. Is CNAME a possibility so we can host the video library on a subdomain and remove all Vento branding and colors? I'd pay extra for that.
4. Do you have a public roadmap?

1. The paid version does remove all ads. If you saw an ad, more than likely you're still on the free version. To redeem your appsumo code, go to the following link while signed in https://vento.so/pricing/appsumo-redeem and you can redeem there.
2. We do have a chrome extension. You can find it here: https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/vento/kcjkmcmcpompphkoaokebhhhindnfpnp. The chrome extension has a set of screen recording tools including the pause button. We also have a set of keyboard shortcuts in the chrome extension as well.
3. We do not have CNAME at this time but it's something we'll probably work on later this year. It's quite the change as it requires us to rearchitect our solution quite a bit.
4. We have a roadmap but it's not public at the moment. We're making changes nearly every week and we'll communicate to our users regularly with updates we've made. If you have a request for a feature, you can always email us or send us a chat message.

One more question: Is there anyway to share a folder of videos? I plan on making a training series, so instead of sharing them 1 by 1, it would be great if I could just share the folder for the entire training. Would also love to see the ability to "heart" and comment on vids!

Almost forgot to ask... Trimming: does that allow us to trim out a section anywhere in the vid? EG: 3 seconds at the beginning and 5 seconds in the middle? I'm still on the free trial so I see the option but wasn't able to test it out. Thanks!
Hey Whitney! Sorry, but Appsumo doesn't let me respond directly to the comments you have so let me try this way. With Trimming, you're allowed to trim any portion of the video not just the beginning or ends.

Hi, where can we find the keyboard shortcuts?
Keyboard shortcuts are in the chrome extension. Just select manage chrome extension and you'll see the shortcuts. You can modify and edit as you please.
