You cannot remove products that were being sold until recently, people paid hundreds of dollars, and then thinking that a low level tier1 for another product is a replacement. This seller Able Chika is now on my blacklist.
I have VidTags x3 codes + VidPowr x2 codes, do not think that giving me a single Leadpal tier1 is enough. I want a code of Leadpal for every one of the others I'm losing, and it's not a direct replacement but that is bare minimum.
Like many other users, I purchased high tiers of both VidTags and VidPowr. I kept both on standby in my software toolbox for when needed, so I never used them in the past few years and will have no possibility to do so moving forward, since both are retiring with a short notice. There are an increasing number of "lifetime" deals sold on AppSumo that vanish after a way too short time, without any replacement offer or refund. I know that "with great LTDs come great risks of losing money", but I seriously start seing a far from ideal pattern here, and was honestly hoping that AppSumo would better protect us from such dishonest situations. Now the big questions are: 1) What is AppSumo doing in this concrete situation with VidTags and VidPowr? 2) What is AppSumo planning to avoid similar issues in the future?
Received an email today from VidTags to inform users of their intent to "transition". Transition to what? Sounds like they are closing their doors.
Is it possible to just download a video from a VidTags link?
