Vitepos - point of sale (POS) Reviews

I've been hunting for an e-comm plugin that does exactly this and I am super happy to finally find this. Going by the reviews i've seen, i am confident that this will alleviate my store inventory management problems.

VitePOS made the integration of an online store and a physical store seamless. The user-interface at the backend is simple to use without having a steep learning curve. A few clicks enabled me to set up a store. The amount of features on this tool replaces a few other WooCommerce plugins, so this is a huge plus. In addition, they have proper documentation and YouTube tutorials that showcase how to use their tool. I currently do not have a need to address with the support team, so I cannot comment on that. This is a mature product.

I was worried about how we would manage inventory tracking in the event of an Internet outage at the store. VitePOS is able to process any in-store sales once the Internet connection is re-established.

I can easily use the thermal printer, and the interface helps me track sales effortlessly.

The only negative that I can attribute to VitePOS is the lack of a white label. Using this as an agency runs the risk of having the client use the tool without renewing my contract. The logo is not that large, but it is noticeable. I hope they offer a way to purchase a white label eventually.

It's cost-effective, simple POS system. It's a good option for smaller retail operations with basic needs.

I went through a lot of options looking for POS software to sync local sales with Woocommerce stock, and this is the only one that did not introduce other problems along with it. It sounds with WC quickly and does not impact your stores performance or get bogged down waiting for your WC installation to respond. The barcode scanning sale feature works really well. I am hoping for a more customizable print setup in the future but the functionality is there. Unlike Square, the installation was painless and the sync feature works flawlessly. I recommend you refresh once the POS loads, as it sometimes has an issue with thumbnails being assigned to the wrong product on loading, but this is minor considering all of the ways that woo payments and square have failed to do what this plugin does. Patiently awaiting PayPal or square payment options but as is very much worthwhile.
