- Exporting a whole audiobook now saves the complete recording instead of stopping partway through.

- Cancel stops an export within about a second at any stage, and nothing is saved.

- Long built-in library tracks such as "Ambient Background" now export.

- When a speaker's voice can't be used, Generate Audio tells you once what to do and keeps generating the other speakers.

- The completed and failed counts beside Generate Audio now match the run.

- Reopening an AppSumo activation link that was already used now explains how to get a fresh one.

Vois Studio 2.5.2 is now available as a free update for your AppSumo licence.

New:

- Go back to an earlier take. Right-click a clip and choose Takes to switch a line back to one of its earlier versions. Picking one locks the line, and Undo puts

it back.

- Lock the lines you like, so Generate Audio leaves their audio alone.

Improved:

- Timeline clips show their real waveform, so pauses and cut-off endings are easy to spot.

Fixed:

- Activating Vois Studio on a new computer now tells you which inbox to check and finishes by itself once you confirm, instead of showing an error.

- A backup made on a Mac now restores on Windows, and the other way round.

- System cleanup apps can no longer remove the audio in your projects.

- Short English scripts now work with Auto language.

Vois Studio 2.5.1 is now available as a free update for your AppSumo licence.

New and improved:

- Follow along as it plays: the script highlights each word as it is spoken, in the editor and in Listen.

- Exports that match your settings: WAV and FLAC at the bit depth you choose, MP3 and AAC at the bitrate you choose, and loudness that reaches the target you

set. Long high-resolution exports are much faster, and you can cancel one in progress.

- Clearer export warnings: if something needs fixing, the export tells you what it is and which line it is on, instead of saving a file with a silent gap.

- Generate Audio keeps your work: trims, splits, fades and volume stay on lines that didn't change, the clips it will update are marked, and if you stop part-way

your unfinished clips keep their previous audio.

- Fewer silences and missing words: when a line stalls partway, Vois Studio makes that part again instead of keeping a long silence.

Fixed:

- Restoring a backup on Windows now works.

- Quitting on Mac no longer crashes after you generate audio.

- Tutorial videos open on YouTube.

- On Tier 2 and Tier 3, the CLI no longer reports CLI access as disabled after Vois Studio has gone a day without checking your plan online.

- When Vois Studio can't confirm your plan before an export, it asks you to connect and retry instead of offering export credits.

Give your AI agents a Vois

- Pipe Claude Code, Codex or any script into vois speak, and Vois Studio reads it aloud on your computer,

phrase by phrase. Hear when a build finishes or an agent needs you, without watching the terminal.

- It works on every tier, Tier 1 included, with no daily limit. It only plays: nothing is saved.

- Tier 2 and Tier 3: headless mode runs Vois Studio with no window, for agents, scripts and scheduled jobs.

Related updates

- Sonic, a fast new engine on every tier. It speaks 31 languages with ten built-in voices. Library and

cloned voices aren't available with Sonic yet.

- Fast now speaks German, Italian, Portuguese and Spanish as well as English. The first time you choose a new language, Vois Studio asks to download it once. Cloned voices keep the accent of their recording.

- Tier 2 and Tier 3: a cloned voice's card now asks for the words spoken in its recording.

- Tier 2 and Tier 3: if you script the CLI, check the CLI guide. vois voice clone now needs --transcript,

and a few names changed.

- Settings now shows your plan as Lifetime Tier 1, 2 or 3.

Fixed

- Long Listen items export in full, not just the first 10 seconds.

- MP3 and AAC exports no longer stall on some Macs.

- If a line's new take fails, it keeps its earlier take.

- English times and phone numbers read naturally.

- Long voices on Fast no longer fail on Windows.

Your tier, devices and clone limits don't change. Omni, Craft and Voice Design remain part of Pro. If you

also have Pro on the same email, your AppSumo-exclusive voices (Tier 2 and Tier 3) work there too.

We've improved pronunciation, accent and delivery across the 23 supported Multilingual languages, with smoother pacing, fewer repeated phrases and more complete narration.

Meet Ellis, Mara, Caleb, Nora, Jules and Reed, bringing the core library to 112 speakers. Language and male/female filters, individual portraits and improved Favorites make finding your next narrator or character easier.

For cloned voices, use a recording in your script's language for the most natural delivery. Existing clones retain their original recording's accent and language characteristics.

If you tried 2.4 early and couldn't access some language-specific previews, that's now fixed. No reinstall is needed if you're already on 2.4.
