We would love to have this as a feature but unfortunately it's really hard to build this in a way operating system allow it. Most OS tend to be very very prohibitive around accessing the whole computer audio.
We might in the future do another assessment on how this could be possible without getting blacklisted by OS. I personally would also love to have that as a feature!

Our main issue is that we have 40k+ users with various OS (mac, windows) and various versions of that OS which means the flow to get access to the system audio is different for a lot of these. As a result, it's not only quite a lot of work to implement it but even more work to test it and ensure it works on all these different OS's
No it's not. The difference is that this time the BYOK is only linked to the T3 account. All previous customers from our initial launch with T2 will still be able to make use of BYOK.
Q: Any plans to incorporate line-in audio for transcription?
Microphone transcriptions work great, but are there any plans to incorporate line-in audio from our desktop + the microphone simultaneously?

See app 'Claquette'. It doesn't transcribe, but records both forms of audio.
