Q: Any plans to incorporate line-in audio for transcription?
Microphone transcriptions work great, but are there any plans to incorporate line-in audio from our desktop + the microphone simultaneously?

A: Hey!
Thanks for the question, to clarify, are you asking if we will include a way to record the computer audio in general as well? So for instance if you are in a Teams meeting or similar?
We would love to have this as a feature but unfortunately it's really hard to build this in a way operating system allow it. Most OS tend to be very very prohibitive around accessing the whole computer audio.
We might in the future do another assessment on how this could be possible without getting blacklisted by OS. I personally would also love to have that as a feature!
Thanks for the pointer about Claquette. Will definitely check out! Our main issue is that we have 40k+ users with various OS (mac, windows) and various versions of that OS which means the flow to get access to the system audio is different for a lot of these. As a result, it's not only quite a lot of work to implement it but even more work to test it and ensure it works on all these different OS's

See app 'Claquette'. It doesn't transcribe, but records both forms of audio.
