I purchased Yazo as an alternative to Outrank, and after putting it into real production use, I can confidently say this is not just a replacement — in many ways, it’s better.

What immediately stood out is control.
Unlike Outrank, which auto-publishes aggressively and can duplicate articles without warning, Yazo gives you full control over topics, structure, pacing, and publishing workflow. This alone removes a huge amount of stress. With Outrank, I constantly had to monitor the site to prevent duplicate posts or unwanted daily publishing. With Yazo, I decide what gets written and when it goes live.

Content Quality
The generated content is clean, structured, and logically written. While it may lack a bit of depth out of the box, that’s actually a strength — it provides a solid editorial foundation that can easily be polished. With light refinement (or a final pass using another AI), the articles become high-quality, authoritative content that feels intentional rather than mass-produced.

Ease of Use
The interface is straightforward and intuitive. Creating articles, setting tone, length, and structure is simple and fast. Even if WordPress integration doesn’t connect, direct copy & paste works perfectly — including images which we finalized in Yazo Article Writer. That flexibility alone makes this tool usable in any setup.

Media & Workflow
Unlike some automated tools, Yazo doesn’t flood your media library unnecessarily (we use WordPress). Only the featured image is saved (as expected), which keeps the backend clean — very similar to how Outrank behaves, but without the chaos of automation errors.

Yes, it takes us around 20–30 minutes per post, but that time is well spent — because we are in control. We know exactly what’s being published, and we trust it.

Final Verdict
For anyone serious about content quality, brand voice, and long-term SEO — Yazo is an outstanding alternative to Outrank. It’s calmer, more precise, and far better suited for brands that care about what they publish, not just how much.

At this price point, especially as a lifetime deal, it’s an absolute steal.

I tried really a lot content creation tools and found several hyped big names to be working insufficiently.
Now, Yazo is also not a total perfect match for my requirements, but is somehow still producing the most usable output.
Personally, I find that Yazo wants so achieve too much and by doing that is loosing a bit focus. Let me explain: Yazo is providing the content creation options you would expect, like AI Writing, text paraphrasing and summarizing, and even options for unusual content like real estate listings. On the other hand, I feel that options like AIDA, SWOT Analysis, legal risk analysis, or cost optimization calculations are not really belonging in such tool. Of cause, a user shouldn't mind if such is included. But it feels random and by this immediately not super trustworthy. It makes me uncomfortable if these are all really well considered inclusions.
Instead, I would prefer to have more content creation options included like Facebook posts or URL-to-Post modules. Even more granular settings for the existing modules would be nice, e.g. defining the length of the output, or providing input for AI writing and including references to knowledge bases to be considered in the output (there is a way to create a 'brand voice' that will be considered, in my experience that will not have an impact on the result though). To me such options would be essential to generate quality output, because otherwise all content will just rely on standard internet sources like any other creation.

Nice is the combination with SEO Analysis and site auditing inside Yazo. Also not directly related to content creation, and these will only be a reference in Yazo and not my most trusted go-to tool for such task.

So, overall I feel strongly tempted to leave just a 4* review score because there are too many untouched improvement areas. There are some top contenders in that field and it should be easy to use such references to catch up in the future.
Despite the current shortcomings, I see the potential and in comparison with other content creation tools the output is still better. Some discoveries might only be due to my inexperienced use of the tool. Partially, that could be blamed on missing documentation or help features which are not available inside the dashboard (another simple improvement).

I mainly use this to draft and give me an idea of how a blog post should be structured and I don't really use the content it gives as I feel all AI generated content is a bit too similar. There's lots of tools within Yazo and can be quite useful. The SEO analysis section is a bit weak though and the table headings can't be sorted easily for finding keywords etc. Hope the SEO tools are improved even for the Tier 1 LTD supporters.
