Q: I am able to build bots in Brave without issue.

Any ETA on when it will be possible to run the bots in Brave?

A: - UPDATE (edited, Nov 2024)

Launching TaskBot in Brave is possible. 🔥 You can now build and launch TaskBots from any browser you want - Brave, Firefox, you name it.

- Original answer (Jul 2024):

Generally speaking, there is nothing that makes ZeroWork agent incompatible with Brave (or any other browser) when building TaskBots as well as clicking on run. The ZeroWork agent uses its own Chrome-base browser window when launching TaskBots anyway, so where you click on Run doesn't matter. However, from experience, Brave does block requests to our local agent application, which is why you are forced to use Chrome to click on Run.

In other words, you could potentially adjust your Brave browser settings to allow your Brave browser to make requests to ZeroWork agent.

However, with so many different browsers on the market, I haven't yet been able to research what settings these are and how exactly they can be adjusted, so I cannot offer any how-to guidance. If you figure it out for Brave, please share with me. 🙂

It's on our list to investigate this and offer some in-built handling into the installation package directly.

I would strongly encourage you all to do a deeper dive into making Brave work to allow for the running of the bots in Brave. Although Chrome and Brave are quite similar, many people don't just use Brave for the security features. They also use it to earn BAT (basic attention tokens) that can be converted into cryptocurrency. That's very important to many people. Thanks for your time.
