Q: On one of my Facebook accounts I copy/paste pertinent news articles or interesting and related links.

It can be a news source like CNN, USAToday, NYT, AP, BBC, NPR, or Fox etc. it can also be a TEDTalk or just a YouTube video.
For each varied source, do I have to create a separate bot, or can I create a master bot saying, “Hey, I like this - this is a news article of some sort from my inventory - figure it out and post this” ?

A: You can create just one TaskBot to do that.

I recommend you create a data table containing those links, and let the TaskBot go through the links and post them on your profile or in groups. You would only need to decide on some condition logic of how the TaskBot should know how many posts and where it should post.

It'a pretty basic and typical use case. We have users who automated similar things. 🙂
