Q: Robomotion Currently offer free templates of automation to their users.
Do you offer the same options?

Jun 27, 2024A: No, we don't offer free templates at the moment.
We do plan to add templates as one of the upcoming features in the future, and it will be available to those who purchased LTD.
At the same time, creating TaskBots is quite easy with ZeroWork. Just take a peak into this crash course: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL7X7ThrPNPJAN8nfHlfguop5ylcZyJjsw, and you will see that you don't really need templates. 😊
Hi Diana,
One key question here, if TaskBots are so easy to create, why would osmeone buy them?
As someone tech-savvy, the appeal would be if they were difficult to create. That way, I've got something to learn that would provide real value.
In addition, what is the potential of the marketplace? I had not heard of ZeroWork before, maybe that's just me. So I am wondering what kind of sales / income a useful and well-made TaskBot could generate.
Thanks
Hey Mike,
That's a great question.
It's easy to create TaskBots. But it takes effort and headspace to maintain them.
Websites often change their UI, and so the TaskBots (or any bots created by any RPA tool, no matter how usable) would need to be maintained and fixed. Those are usually not dramatic changes, but there has to be someone who monitors these changes and takes care of these fixes. Many people prefer to subscribe to a ready-to-use solution to avoid this burden.
Apart from that, it's not just about fixing and maintaining a published TaskBot, it's also about continuously improving and enhancing it. There are some creators on our marketplace who pretty much re-built their initial TaskBots based on the feedback their first subscribers gave them. It all takes a lot of dedication and headspace.
I don't quite agree that someone tech-savvy would only subscribe to a product if that product was difficult to create. 😊
To a certain extent, it applies not only to TaskBots but any software, really. There are many tools that I, as a developer, could code in a short period of time, but I have no motivation to maintain and improve them, so in most cases I would always prefer to subscribe to a ready-to-use SaaS tool with a dedicated team behind it.

The marketplace is still in its beginning, which means there is an opportunity of being among the first creators to establish your reputation and take over the most demanded use cases. Current creators on the market generate recurring monthly revenue from their subscribers, although it's not as much yet.
You can run a basic calculation - if you build a TaskBot for a demanded, valuable use case and charge 40 dollars for it (of which we retain 30%) and get, say, 30 subscribers in the beginning, you would generate an income of 840 dollars per month. The more you improve your TaskBot, the more reviews you get from your subscribers, the easier it is then to expand your user base. 😊
