The Long Road to Becoming Zero Work
Let me start with the conclusion: this product is not yet sufficient to be called Zero Work.
First of all, the learning curve for this tool is quite steep, and users with no prior experience will definitely face considerable frustration. Such users will need to spend a lot of time on trial and error to achieve the desired results.
Moreover, although it is executed locally, it can only operate websites and perform simple web requests, without direct access to local applications or any large databases, not even SQLite. Users have to figure out how to set up a web server as an intermediary to execute local programs through this tool, and they also need to find their own ways to transmit data (the built-in table and Google Docs do not meet my needs), which is also quite troublesome for users. Although there is a block for executing JS code within the program, it can only run in the browser and is limited by the browser's security policies, making many operations impossible through this block.
I believe this tool still has a lot of room for development, and I hope one day it can truly become Zero Work.
2024-12-18 Update:
They released a new update v1.1.57 that allows code to be executed outside the browser, so I'm here to update the review and rating.
I'm glad they listened to my needs (complaints).
