Q: subscription product type not included?

I echo other questions/reviews that are disappointed that you're offering a set of plans to AppSumo that are quite different from directly on your website. In particular, as I understand it, you have to buy tier 3 to sell subscriptions? This is a basic product type of any type of payment system. And in fact, with the plans on your website, there is total feature parity for all three plans until you get to the (understandable) more advanced power features that are add supplemental features.... i.e. affiliates is beyond what a cart/funnel solution is expected to offer. It's not just nickel and diming about anything specific, it doesn't engender confidence that things will go well down the road as new features are added. I would need to see some shift in how you understand the value of our purchases to confidently invest.

A: Hi there,

Long story short, we have to survive and do what's necessary to ensure our longevity and sustainability.

With AppSumo deals dropping like flies these days, we are committed to not being a statistic.

I understand buyers would want to have their cake and eat it too: the deal must be very cheap, and it must survive for the next 10 years too.

That's just not feasible, and we want to...

A: Hi there,

Selling prescription medicine and other medicines (including OTC vitamin pills) is considered a restricted category by both Stripe and PayPal (the payment processors we integrate with).

That doesn't mean it's outright prohibited, but it does mean you need to get pre-approval from them first before you can begin using them to sell your...

Q: As a New User

Hey!
Just started using it today.
Love the ease of use.
However, I have a Paypal connection (no Stripe here) but to integrate with Sendfox, I need Stripe integration....

Also.
Is there a way to do a test purchase?

Lastly, how about refunds for returns? How do I do it?
Thanks!

A: Hi Hagai,

1. I'll check on the Sendfox integration issue and update you via email.

2. Yes, you can test your purchase with a card; otherwise just set up a paid product, create a 100%-off coupon, use that coupon during checkout, and you can also test your purchase that way.

3. You can handle returns and refunds from the Transactions page.

With thanks,
Jay

Q: Sales notification email to the customer and the shop owner

Hi, when someone buys a product, will the software automatically send a sales notification to the customer and the shop owner? I want to receive email notifications whenever someone buys any of my products. Do I have to integrate an autoresponder, or will the software automatically send the email?

A: Hi there,

No, of course not.

It's built into our software, I would expect it's a basic functionality.

We send a sales notification to the admin (you), a receipt to the buyer, an email with the downloadable file (if any), and any other email you want to send upon purchase.

Hope this clarifies!

With thanks,
Jay
