Hi Jay just wanted to make sure you took a close look at Creem's claims of complying with global tax requirements - obviously they aren't the standout leader in high-convert eComm that Zylvie is,, so I'm really just interested in their compliance piece, it might be worth your time to check out in detail since the same sort of compliance would attract businesses who want to sell internationally on Zylvie as well. and there were some interesting other features. https://appsumo.com/products/creem/#overview
While I'm not fully familiar with Creem (I did take a look at their AppSumo page), I can assure you that Zylvie is also VAT-compliant for EU and also other regions of the world.
All you have to do is just enable taxes under Settings > Tax -- it's just the flick of a switch -- and we'll automatically calculate sales tax, VAT, GST, etc. due at checkout.
Just so you know, our global tax compliance is powered by Stripe and has been live for quite some time now!
I'm laughing at how silly this is of course Stripe makes the compliance work in Zylvie... sorry for getting confused by the marketing lingo I should have known!!! You already have it all and more!!! Just weren't plugging it. Thanks
Q: Landing Pages
I signed up for a trial, but can't see to find where your landing pages are located in the software and I've clicked on every link. Can I create a landing page like Unbounce or LeadPages?
I'm an Appsumo customer. I've purchased several products, and this one in particular seemed incredible because of what it offers and the positive reviews from its customers.
I'm planning to purchase the five codes to get started, but before doing so, I'd like to know exactly what the following three items mean:
* Sell subscription/SaaS products * In-built affiliate/referral system * Allow buyers to "send as a gift" products they purchase to friends or family
I'd like to know what they mean specifically and in what real-life cases they would apply.
Thank you very much in advance for your attention.
This simply means you can sell monthly subscription products.
Instead of charging customers one-time, you can charge them over and over again on a monthly, annually, weekly, even bi-weekly, basis -- whatever interval you want.
We also allow you to offer a free trial, paid trial, add a setup fee, etc.
You can also use this feature for customers to finance their purchase, e.g. pay $100 over 4 months. We automatically stop collecting payments after 4 months.
* In-built affiliate/referral system
This is a feature for 3rd-party marketers and affiliates to promote and sell your products on your behalf in exchange for a commission.
We provide an in-built facility to track the referrals, calculate the commissions, and track when commissions are earned/due, and you have it all under one roof in Zylvie.
This is typically another software altogether, but Zylvie has this integrated.
* Allow buyers to "send as a gift" products they purchase to friends or family
This simply means, during checkout, the customer can choose to send the purchase products to their friend/family instead.
It's similar to Amazon's or Groupon's "buy for a friend" feature.
Hope this clarifies, don't hesitate to let me know if you have further questions!
Thank you so much for your prompt response; this speaks volumes. As for the first question about *Sell subscription/SaaS products*, you answered about subscriptions. I completely understand that. But you didn't answer what SaaS products mean. Honestly, that's the part that interests me most.
It means selling apps on a monthly basis instead of a one-time payment.
For example, Adobe Photoshop used to be one-time payment and comes in a CD.
Now it's considered a SaaS software, as it costs $10/mo to use it.
Our platform supports SaaS software sales, just as we support other monthly products like services or memberships.

Q: Ticketing for Digital?
I love that Zylvie assists with selling Digital products like downloads, but it currently lacks the ability for customers to interact via tickets or comms for multiple digital deliverables. Would you please consider adding this for future growth away from pure 1-time purchases into a multi-step deliverable thing so Agencies can use Zylvie? I am currently weighing options here vs. https://appsumo.com/products/agency-handy/#overview which is why I'm asking. Thanks for your consideration of the need to do multi-digital deliverable downloads (agency services) not just 1-time digital product downloads! Pls let me know if you have any questions about what would work best & I love Zylvie so obviously I hope you can integrate this so we can stay on the best platform ever for eComm, Zylvie!
Okay thanks, yes. So if they want a complex digital product, as opposed to a 1-time pdf download or something simple, it is often work we will perform to customize it, right? So maybe they pay, then get a form/questionnaire (pdf/docx or redirect to our private portal) where they enter project details (like website URL, goals for the project, maybe even code), we customize product & give download
You can either redirect the buyers to a success URL, which would be a form URL (e.g. Jotform, it's free), where you can collect all the necessary details.
And you can even connect Jotform to Zapier if you are automating the product creation using some other app, or just process it manually.
With thanks, Jay
Q: I see from Plan 3 that it includes "Manage 10 brands". Does it mean 10 websites?
In the case of Plan 3, we can use our own domains for those websites?
Q: did you see creem?

Apr 4, 2025A: Hi there,
We're more akin to Gumroad and Payhip if you want to just a platform analogy.
So yes, you can create product landing pages, but they're based on Products.
I'm not too familiar with Unbounce/LeadPages, so I can't comment on that.
You can also look into our Pages feature on the left menu and see if that fulfills your use case.
Hope this helps.
With thanks,
Jay

If you can give me an example, that would be great.

Mar 28, 2025A: Hi there,
Yes, that's correct.
We call each store a "Brand," because Zylvie is created with solopreneurs in mind, and solopreneurs usually manage multiple brands.
And yes, each store can have their own domain.
So you have 10 custom domains in total.
Hope this clarifies!
With thanks,
Jay
