Q: Hi - I have a few questions :)
1. Can visitors register for a new customer account on my website?
2. Can customers log in to their existing account?
3. Is there a "Forgot Password" or password reset feature?
4. Can customers change their password after creating an account?
5. Does every customer receive a permanent account after purchasing?
6. Can customers log in later and see all of the products they have purchased?
7. Does each customer have a personal library that grows as they purchase additional products over time?
8. Can access be controlled on a per-product basis so customers only see the products they own?
9. Can this be embedded into an existing website rather than replacing it?
10. Is there a customer dashboard or "My Library" page where users can access their purchased products?
11. Is there a limit to the number of customer accounts that can be created?

Sep 17, 2026A: Hi there,
1. No — visitors don’t sign up for a customer account on the storefront. The account is created automatically when they buy, using the email they enter at checkout.
2. Yes. They go to your store’s /account page (“My purchases”), enter that same email, and we send a login link.
3. There’s no buyer password, so there’s no “Forgot Password” form. Requesting a new login link to the purchase email is how they get back in.
4. Same as #3 — buyers don’t set or change a password.
5. Yes. After a purchase they can return anytime via /account + the email they used at checkout.
6. Yes. That page lists the products they bought.
7. Yes. Later purchases on the same email are added to the same library.
8. Yes. They only see products they own.
9. Checkout, yes — embed it inline or as a pop-up on your existing site. You don’t have to replace your website. The library itself is a page on your Zylvie store (or custom domain), not an embeddable widget.
10. Yes — that’s the /account “My purchases” page.
11. No limit on buyer/customer accounts.
Hope this clarifies!
With thanks,
Jay
