Finally useful Mac dictation
I used AIDictation v0.0.72 on macOS Tahoe 26.4.1, mainly in Chrome, Notes, and Slack-style message fields.

Not magic, but very useful
Not magic, but very useful. I don't expect dictation to produce final copy every time. I use it to create a first draft quickly, then I edit. That workflow works very well. Speaking is faster than typing when I already know what I want to say. And this dictation app makes the capture step easy enough that I actually use it.

Simple and focused, runs locally, which is what I wanted
