I have been a loyal customer and have always trusted AppSumo to vet their partners, but the recent actions by the Alphana team have completely broken that trust. I recently received an email from the creator stating that my purchase now only grants 6 months of access, after which my account will be restricted. This feels like a classic bait-and-switch scheme where the founder takes our hard-earned USD and runs away.
I am genuinely worried because I have invested a significant amount of money into the AppSumo ecosystem over the years. AppSumo, we rely on your platform to protect us from bad actors who do not honor their Lifetime Deals (LTDs). I am officially requesting that AppSumo step in to hold this creator accountable, restore our rightful access, or issue a full refund to all affected buyers immediately.

Another product from AppSumo takes my money and runs away
I am sick and tired of Appsumo LTDs who were sold to me as lifetime promises and runing away without ANY meaningful recourse to the users. Will refer this to my attorney friend for possibility of class action against these founders and Appsumo for doing bait and switch.

If you can't trust the reviews, then what?
It's incredible that a tool with a rating of 4.7 treats its users like this and has closed in this way, with such a simplistic email and a lack of interest.
But it was really predictable ever since they removed the ability to upload videos directly from YouTube, and they never fixed it. Also, all the communications in the emails they sent every week never mentioned Alphana, but that other platform that has no relation, on which they focused all their efforts.
