I am having issues with clipboard paste on some apps especially Outlook. It does transcript but I have to then manually copy from Amical app into my outlook email, obviously not ideal. At the same time, if I take cursor to another app, it works just fine. I tried messaging help in the app but the bot said don't have an answer. Pls advise how to fix this issue. Hi, I have two specific questions. When I have the auto detection turned on, then when I speak in Bengali, in one phone it's typing in Hindi, in another phone it's typing in Urdu.
So I turned off the auto detection and then I chose specific languages, but in that case it's always translating it into English. It's not writing in Bengali or it's not writing in German. So is there a fix? Thank you.

A: Hi! Thats odd, are you only facing this issue only on Mobile or on Desktop too? When you selected specific languages, did you select both Bengali and German - since both languages work well on Amical Cloud models.

Hi Naomi, Yes, I selected Bengali, German and English, no Hindi or Urdu, but then it started translating only in English, maybe because English is the system language? I tested it only on Android. I also posted it on Discord. Thank you!

Thank you for the excellent Windows version of Amical! I would also like to use Amical on Android, but I have a problem on my Motorola Moto G13 with Android 13 and 2 GB RAM.
When I try to enable “Display over other apps”, Android shows: “Feature not available. This feature has been turned off because it slows down your phone.” Because of this, I cannot use Amical for dictation...

A: Ahh, yes we are aware. As you suspect, thats the Android OS blocking apps due to limited RAM. But good news, we are working on both: 1. Optimising the app more to support more limited RAM sizes. 2. (Your recommendation) Being able to dictate within the Amical app. This feature is coming very soon :)
Hi, I've testing the free tier of a few different options including Amical. While I like Amical I have only 2 issues. One I can like with, the other is quite funny but makes continued usage impossible. Hopefully you can help:
Issue 1 - No AI correction or formatting like some options include (not a big deal)
Issue 2 - Many times, when I finish talking, the entire paragraph will be in Welsh...

A: Hi, If auto detection of languages isn't getting it right for you, you can always disable auto detect and set the languages you actually speak. To configure this - settings > dictation > languages Let us know if this sorts it out, if not, pls do reach out to us over at [email protected] or https://amical.ai/community
