Not only is the transcripton highly accurate, but it adds punctuation and even emojis! Plus I can add custom words if it doesn't quite get it right, such as names. But the kicker is that I can use it on any app on any device where keyboard input is available, thanks top their always on top widget. Best transcription app I've ever used, and I've tried many. Not yet perfect - I've had to restart on PC a few times because somehow the widget didn't kick in, and I've submitted a few UI improvement ideas, but I'm very happy to be an early adopter.

I had an annual subscription to a tool called Aqua, which its annual price was about the same price of Amical's tier I purchased here.

It has worked at least as well and in some cases better than Aqua. So I'm very happy with the purchase and have cancelled Aqua.

Amical has proven to be a great tool for writing using voice. It has made my daily routine easier, but on Android it still needs improvement in some functions, such as holding to write, because today I need to click to start recording and then click again to stop and transcribe.

I understand it could be something like WhatsApp, where you hold, record, and upon releasing, the transcription appears. Other than that, I hope the tool evolves, becomes more accurate and faster, but it is already a great help in daily life and transcribes with extreme clarity. This review was made entirely using Amical's dictation.

As an additional suggestion, I would also like to request platform transcription for Brazilian Portuguese, as well as the use of more sober colors and icons on Android, especially for the floating icon. I would like it to be much more discreet and professional.

I’ve been using amical almost daily now and honestly did not expect it to stick this fast. Mainly started using it for email and slack but now I am using it for everything like writing prompts, docs and even leaving myself voice notes that actually come out formatted.

A few things that stood out:
- accuracy on technical terms is surprisingly strong once you add your custom vocabulary
- the shortcut to trigger it is quick enough that it actually becomes muscle memory fast

A couple of things I would love to see improved like the onboarding could be smoother for non technical users and a way to set per app formatting preferences manually would give power users a lot more control.

Overall this is the kind of tool that quietly changes your daily workflow. Highly recommend it!
