Q: how many websites can i use this on?
FEW related questions...
1) can I use this on two separate chats with separate teams on two separate sites? eg: site1.com and site2.com
2) if I *can* install it on two separate sites, can i restrict a support person login to site1 only?
3) can I install two separate chats on the same sites? eg: www.site3.com & portal.site3.com - so on www, it's a sales chat, and in the portal, it's a support chat?

Yes, you can do all that.
You can create a separate workspace for each of your websites and add different team members to different workspaces.
The max number of workspaces depends on your plan:
Tier 1 - up to 3 workspaces
Tier 2 - up to 5 workspaces
Tier 3 - unlimited workspaces
