I’ve been loving my experience with BeFreed so far. The ability to create custom podcasts around exactly what I want to learn has been a game changer, especially during commutes. It feels personal, flexible, and actually useful for real learning, not just passive listening.

The app already delivers a lot of value, and I’m really excited about where it’s going. I’m especially looking forward to future features like the ability to upload my own documents and turn them into podcasts, which would take the learning experience to another level.

Overall, super happy with it and excited to keep using it as it evolves!

I've been using the app for a few days now. Aside from some initial hurdles in understanding how to use it and its full potential, I have to admit it’s fantastic! Highly recommended.

It would be interesting to be able to:
- Have sources cited more explicitly during lessons upon request (I tried using the customization settings, but it doesn't seem to work).
- Choose the type of source to draw knowledge from (books, articles, podcasts, etc.).
- Create and organize lessons directly from the web app.

It's great! The application is very stable and works perfectly (except for a small bug due to the registration via AppSumo which made me fill in my preferences several times.)
I have pushed my requests far, but the program proposals (bringing together book summaries and aggregation of content in the form of Podcast) are always great.
The voices to select are great, but beware of the next step: many apps have crashed when they added other languages, not knowing the right and wrong voices from languages they don't know. (I'm looking at you Headway).
The developers have already announced that full localization is coming, but if the new voices don't catch up, it will greatly penalize the sustainability of the application. I am personally waiting carefully for French. But I want to say that the English voices are great.

The application being focused on learning, it's a hundred times better than any generic AI. Over time, I think they will continue to push this area. Why not with flashcards for example and a kind of knowledge bank that would grow automatically with each listening, or selections.

I’ve been using BeFreed for a couple of days now and overall I really like it. The app is easy to use and runs smoothly most of the time, which makes it perfect for listening while walking or working out. The library is also quite large, so there’s always something to explore.

That said, I do run into occasional glitches, and the medical content is a bit too superficial for my needs. I was hoping to use it more seriously for studying, but it doesn’t quite go deep enough yet.

It would be a huge improvement if we could import our own PDFs, get more language options, and see a stronger selection of medical books.

All in all, a very enjoyable app with a lot of potential—just needs a bit more depth in certain areas.

Purchased this week, and already love this app. Great for creating your own training summaries. Even tried to give it a tougher topic, and it did great at researching and creating a podcast.

I only wish the app would allow me to download the podcast as an mp3, as I travel alot, and don't always have good cellphone/wireless connection.
