If my WooCommerce images are already served from an external CDN and not stored locally in WordPress, will BerqWP still optimize and deliver them through its system?
Or does it require images to be hosted in the WordPress media library to fully work?
Thanks

A: BerqWP can automatically detect images hosted on external CDNs. To avoid any broken images, we don’t convert those images to WebP or AVIF format, we leave image optimization to the CDN provider. However they are still lazy loaded.
Hi, do you have any comparision (side-by-side) to Litespeed vs BerqWP, Litespeed with Quic vs BerqWP? I think it could be valuable for all of us here.

A: LiteSpeed Cache even when combined with QUIC cloud, isn’t even close to BerqWP due to a fundamental difference in optimization approach.
LiteSpeed primarily relies on your server’s resources to process optimizations. This introduces limitations, especially for resource intensive tasks like generating critical CSS or converting images to AVIF format.
HI, i've bought it back in the days but there were quite a decent amount of bugs and i remember the support was overwhelmed, that's why i refunded. Asking genuinely: - Does it still relies mainly ONLY on CDN or can we also use it without it? - Is the CDN unlimited? - Has support times improved or still mainly the same? -Does it support all the current builders? (interested mainly in Bricks, Elementor and Gutemberg) Thanks, hope it's better now!

A: Hey there,
You can use BerqWP even without a CDN, you can disable it in the plugin settings. With the CDN disabled, you won't get next-gen images but everything else will be fully functional.
Yeah the CDN is unlimited and support response time has improved.
BerqWP supports all page builders, themes, plugins and hosting providers as well.
If you have a small website with like 10 pages, you...

A: If you decide to use BerqWP, we strongly recommend disabling SG Cache and any other caching plugin to avoid conflicts. Running multiple caching systems at the same time can cause layout issues, broken optimizations, or inconsistent performance results.
You can continue using Cloudflare and SiteGround hosting, BerqWP is fully compatible with them.
Q: Does BerqWP Work with CDN-Hosted Images?
Hi, quick question about BerqWP:
If my WooCommerce images are already served from an external CDN and not stored locally in WordPress, will BerqWP still optimize and deliver them through its system?
Or does it require images to be hosted in the WordPress media library to fully work?
Thanks

There have been no changes to the deal, "Fluid Images" still requires an additional subscription.

We don't have such a comparison. If you're just interested in performance, I can tell you BerqWP will outperform LiteSpeed Cache in ANY environment.
