Q: File Names Cut Off and All Videos I Uploaded For My Brand Aren't Showing Thumbnails...
Hi there. A couple issues.
1 - I uploaded three different logo designs which I distinguish by file names as far as certain dimensions. However, the file names are cut off so in essence it's not easy for me to distinguish which one is which at a glance. How can we allow our "complete" file name to show?
2 - I tested three video uploads for my brand. All three show no thumbnail for the video whatsoever. In fact, all three show just a white background. When I click on each one and hit play, the videos do play but again there's literally no thumbnail for any of them.
Please advise.
Thanks.

Some initial responses to your question without knowing more details would be:
1- You are able to change the names of an asset when you open up the file. By default it inherits the filename that existed when you uploaded. There should be a decent amount of space for a filename as shown here: https://d.pr/i/2nt07Z I would think the vast majority of use-cases that should be plenty of room to show what is needed to distinguish assets. However, we are more than welcome to receive any UI feedback and have BrandBay be well optimized for digital agency and marketing team workflows! I will also add in here, that it is recommended to organize your assets as you bring them into your brand library. BrandBay is NOT designed to be your "bulk cloud storage of unorganized assets of everything-that-you-did-ever-in-your-company". BrandBay IS designed around clean asset presentation so that key assets are easy to find and easy to present to your team or clients for optimal collaboration and client experience. :)
2- Videos should take on your brand logo as the initial thumbnail if no thumbnail is provided with the video asset. If you have not added your brand's logo at the top left - https://d.pr/i/kjp6Ja - then it is possible that is why you are seeing this. However to more specifically help in this situation, please contact us directly at support@brandbay.io as the team is ready to promptly assist!
