A: We have done much internally to be GDPR compliant and have data processing agreements able to be signed if you contact us at support@brandbay.io. :) We have not marketed as GDPR compliant yet as we have not hired an attorney yet to confirm our status as we would like to be 100% certain before making such claims. But as far as I know currently, we are in compliance.

Hello! Currently we still have digital assets predominantly stored on USA servers, so though we have many GDPR measures in place, I believe according to the EU, they desire that everything regarding an EU customer would be stored in EU servers separately, which currently is not how we have our advanced storage system set up. This may be something configured in the future if it proves necessary.

I am willing to go to your max tier, but GDPR compliancy is a requirement in EU, not a choice. You don't need to host data in EU to be compliant, things have changed : https://www.dataprivacyframework.gov/
Of course, "political volatility" could change everything back again (and I would cry about my $999 investment). Could you please check again if your service is compliant according to DPF?

Thank you for sharing this. When we started BrandBay back in 2022, we intended on delivering EU-GDPR from the foundation, but once we learned that the laws were going towards that we had to have a separate hosting system and divide "EU" data from others, that fundamentally was going to be a large cost for us. So we have not marketed GDPR compliance. We will look into this! We may actually be! 😅
