We have actually had a number of requests for a few of these items and have brought them to the team as possible future updates to the platform. 


Specifically:


1. This is a feature we have just recently began to have active development discussions about implementing, so it is being looked into :)
2. Right now you are able to bulk upload files into a group, but not create a new group based upon a folder being uploaded. So to do this you would be able to multi-select all of the files in your folder and then drop them into the “Add Assets” box inside any of your groups and then your files will appear in the group. But you do not have the ability currently to upload your files while still being inside of a folder, though we have had that as a feature request and can bring this to the development team as an idea to add as well :)
3. If I am understanding your use case here, if you’d like to use BrandBay as sort of an upload portal of sorts to your other cloud storage, we currently do not have that functionality as BrandBay in itself is already a robust cloud storage and hosting solution. But you can use BrandBay as a place to link to Google drive files or of course host your media natively inside the platform!
4. We have strongly considered adding an API for BrandBay, and if we do decide to move in this direction in the future it may be helpful to have some ideas of what people would like to do with BrandBay and Zapier for instance to get a greater understanding of the use cases that could be there. We have considered a number of options already, and so if you had a specific use case in mind, we would be glad to hear about what you’d like to use BrandBay for if you would like to write an idea for us on our ideas board:
