Q: 👋 Hello there, Are admins able to upload custom fonts?
Do you have an example brand page that you can share, so we can see what a read-only/download-only customer would see?
Thank you. :-)

May 14, 2024A: Hello 👋
And that’s up to you :) Brandbay gives you the ability to choose what permissions each access level has. For example there are 4 different access levels including public, viewers, editors and admins. For viewers, editors and admins you can toggle what each level is allowed to do including editing, adding, and deleting assets; managing collections and groups; as well as adding users. :)
A very good example of this is the sandbox mode that is available when you first log into BrandBay. When you log in we present you inside of a brand called "Example Brand" which is a fully featured brand in BrandBay showing a lot of the features of what a populated brand with assets would look like.
Please let us know if you have any other questions in the meantime!
Hello Again,
Do you have a public URL for an example brand that you can share? I want to avoid creating an account before I see what a brand package/site looks like for someone with public access. Thanks!
Hey Interwebs, thank you. Our team saw this request and from what you're asking I can say that currently the ability to share a public URL to an entire BrandBay brand is a roadmapped feature that we plan on implementing soon. (https://www.brandbay.io/roadmap)
But I can also say that we know how important the client/customer experience is and that is the reason why we have gone in-depth into permissions in the platform!
And so in the meantime, we would like to show you how the UI/UX would look like for someone with public access, so we are planning on recording a brief demo video of this here shortly! If you check back in this thread later today, hopefully we can have that video for you to see what you can expect inside the app :)
+1 to both of these questions. What type of font support does brandbay offer? If your brand uses fonts that aren’t on google fonts, eg adobe or custom woff, can you use those? And a demo brand page would be useful.
@jake467 you can upload virtually any font into BrandBay (as long as it is not license-locked, because then it wouldn't be able to render in preview but you could still store it). :)
After this next major update, you will be able to share whole brands on public links if you desire. So we would be able to make our sandbox "Example Brand" public shortly after the update with the new UI!
