So far, I'm very impressed with all of the features. I particularly like the customizable member plans along with the Stripe integration. The instant business records and claimable listings solve the problem of launching a new directory, saving tons of time while filling out the site to attract both members and visitors.

There is a bit of a learning curve in how things are done, so be prepared to dig into the docs and videos. I've used support twice, and they responded quickly each time.

Using Brilliant Directories (BD) makes creating a membership site quick and easy, you litterally have a site up and running in minutes.
The customisation features are extensive allowing you to make the site your own. Some of the customisation features are a little more complicated to implement, but the tutorial videos are easy to follow along and the instructional documentation is detailed.
I'm creating a town business directory and ability to import the business data makes populating the directory extremely simple.

I was looking for a solution to build my directory - the alternatives meant stacking up plug-ins, coding some elements, which is not my strength, and then mashing together lots of other software. I gave up. I knew I would be setting myself up with the on going nightmare of keeping the whole thing up to date with plugins and version changes. With Brilliant Directories the whole thing is built for the exact purpose of building a directory. I am not naive enough to believe there won’t be a learning curve but it's all their- ready to go.
