Web scraping was one of the reasons I rented a VPS. But now I'm almost forgetting about it since I discovered BrowserAct 😅 It's really useful and well-designed

If you're looking for a website scraper then this is a great choice. The AI features make scraping easier and more reliable, if the website changes then the AI will still be able to scrape the data you need, it won't break your workflow. For me, the best part about BrowserAct is the API, being able to use it flawlessly inside of my ActivePieces automations is a gamer changer and makes it way more powerful. I recommend BrowserAct to anyone looking to scrape data :)

Threre are many user cases for which this app may be usefull.
But for getting an easy list of nearby businesses it is not easy completed with the provided template. I was really hoping that it could be used whithout a degree in programming. I wont drag down the efforts of the programmers just becaus I am myselfe ignorant and lack understanding, so I only encourage you programmers to have an educator in your team to make useful training and explonations on how to use things .

I have been creating custom browser automations for over a decade now. Using Browseract was the first time that I almost created a full working (real use) browser automation on first attempt. I created the full workflow, ran it - hit one issue (I messed up one selector description), fixed it and ran again. I was shocked that it worked haha, only needing one run to debug is completely unheard of for me.

It didn't need any further modifications afterwards either. Normally I need to spend a lot of time debugging and improving resilience. This was without checking any documentation or tutorials, just the tooltips in the main UI.

This was not a super basic automation also, it was for something that specifically tries to prevent automation. Using frequent page randomisation (layout, selectors, buttons, colours, label text etc. all change on basically every run), traverses two pages and also has the industry standard obnoxious captcha, set at the highest difficulty level.

One confusion was that I didn't know how to add a conditional wait step, as I'm used to needing them for a substantial amount of actions. Turns out, Browseract just handles that automatically too, which I also have never seen before. This simplifies things a lot and minimises the amount of logic needed substantially.

BrowserAct has completely changed how I work with legacy systems and modern tools.

It allows me to turn virtually any website into an API, which has saved me hundreds—if not thousands—of hours.
