SyeQ: Urgent - Important Question for DanDan Buyers Like Me
As a long-time appsumo user, I’ve seen several products sold or merged with other companies. Sometimes the new owners respect LTD customers, but in other cases, licenses are downgraded or revoked—often leaving early supporters behind. Two recent examples in the video space are Berrycast and Remo, where one handled things positively and the other less so.
My question is simple: if DanDan is ever sold or merged, can you promise that LTD buyers will keep their privileges? We took a chance on your business at the start, so a clear commitment would give us peace of mind that you’ll do right by your early supporters.
It would mean a lot to me and others.

Aug 19, 2025A: Hi Sye, there has been a lot of mentions about the same. With 'dadan' we don't have any plans of mergers or selling the company. It is a product from Link Solutions and our goal is to continue building dadan on the long run.
I understand this is important for the Appsumo community specifically as you mentioned when you are taking a chance with the early product - we have crafted our deals keeping in mind that we can honour this in the long term.
