TheSpiceMonkeyQ: Upgrading to T3 today — EU subprocessor list and DPA for LTD holders?
Hi Pankaj, Mark here (T1 since 4 Sep, the "cowboy" review you replied to & other emails). Re upgrading to T3 today for MCP, API and EU hosting. Your 6 Aug reply to Marcus covered EU scope, no-training, retention and migration, so two follow-ups:
1. Marcus also asked about subprocessors and OCR/AI processing. Your reply covered storage, DB, temp files, backups and processing, but not subprocessors. Under EU hosting, is AI inference served in the EU, or does extraction call a US model provider? An EU sub-processor list would settle it.
2. I'm in Switzerland (revFADP + GDPR) and would be controller to your processor, so I need a written Art. 28 contract regardless. Does the DPA you mentioned to Marcus extend to a T3 LTD holder?
Lastly: if I reverse the T3 upgrade am I left on Tier 1, or does that cancel my current Tier 1 licence too?

This list covers DigiParser’s overall infrastructure across both US and EU regions.
For accounts hosted in the EU region, AI processing also stays within the EU region.
Our standard DPA is available to Tier 3 AppSumo customers as well. We do not provide custom contracts, custom DPAs, or custom compliance questionnaires for lifetime deal customers; those are available only for Enterprise customers.
If you upgrade to Tier 3 and later decide to downgrade, you can do so within AppSumo’s applicable refund/downgrade window and return to your lower tier.
