I can't find anywhere to change or add a new agent to an existing document on the interface. The dialog window to use an agent only allows you to upload a new document not apply it to an existing one. I am stuck with a general agent on a document and can't change it.
I don't have any icon next to the document or collection name that allows me to change the agent that is described in the documentation.
Q: Is it possible to have DocXter compare two documents?
I have an issue in which a technical document draft was updated with a new draft but key information fell out of the second document. Can DocXter run some kind of compare between two files and help identify unique content in the original document that did not get captured with the second, updated draft document? I have tried another product like BeyondCompare which can highlight differences between two Word files, but it can not capture and summarize missing information as I'm hoping DocXter can provide.
Thanks for the near-instantaneous response (impressive). Okay, I will purchase and give my use case a try to see what the result is. The trick is it really needs to find passages that are missing from the other document.
Oh, it appears the deal just ended. Wow. Talk about bad timing...what a bummer.
Q: Uploading files question
I have a large library of legal court cases -- each txt file is about 1 page, typically less. And I have 10 years worth, with about 80,000 per year (yeah alot). I currently purchased Tier 5 on DocXter -- is it possible somehow to upload these? This would be amazing if I can somehow. Thank you in advance.
Q: QUESTION: I have a bunch of files each is a small <1 page text file
So I have a large library of small text files that are results of legal cases. Probably 80,000 files per year and want to load 10 years. Each file is <1 page typically and a *.txt file. I want to be able to use this to create insights into case law in a specific subject area. is this possible to upload and use -- I have the highest Tier on appsumo
Hi. We have been using DocXter for a while and are happy with it, though we need more time to fully assess its performance for academic research compared to other tools. We are now especially interested in how the new agents might assist us, could you please provide some examples relevant to academic research? Are they, for example, able to act autonomously and find new relevant research and add to existing collections?
We are impressed with the update frequency, but the communication often lacks clarity. The emails and website updates has too much enthusiastic AI language without clearly explaining the actual benefits or functionality. Please tone down the eager AI voice a bit, and focus more on practical benefits and optimal usage.
For those undecided, give DocXter a try while you can - no similar tool came close - we tested them all.
Q: How do you switch agents for a document

Oct 18, 2024A: Hi @kranz,
Yes, with DocXter you’ll be able to compare and summarize the info between the two documents.
Upload them as a collection and ensure a precise line of questioning. It’ll work just fine!
