Q: Teable?

Does this work with Teable?

A: Teable is indeed built on Postgres under the hood but Teable only gives you read-only access.

Dreamlit requires read + write access to your database (it installs triggers to kick off workflows in realtime and manages its own schema to run workflows reliably). Because of that, it won’t work with Teable today. If they ever allow write access (or deeper database control), then it could become...

Q: Can i replace my email service provider with this tool?

Do I still need a subscription to my current ESP or does this replace that service and cost?

A: Yes, you can replace your ESP with Dreamlit in most cases.

Dreamlit handles both transactional emails (like signups, receipts, notifications) and things like broadcasts/newsletters, so for many small businesses it can fully replace tools like Mailchimp, SendGrid, etc. You don’t need a separate ESP subscription—we handle the sending infrastructure for you (via AWS SES under the hood). The main...

Q: I'm not a Dev - what's required

Am on my way learning and setting up a website (websites) with Wordpress and Bricks Builder.

Just now, educating myself around all the different email options that's required for a small business to function: ESP Promotional email, Custom email, SMTP transactional email. For me, a jungle.

Been on Appsumo for years - discovered Dreamlit. Dreamlit requires a Supabase or Postgres account. Which I...

A: Fair question, and you’re not alone, this stuff does feel like a jungle at first.

Dreamlit is a tool for sending transactional emails (like signups, password resets, general app notifications), as well as for handling things like newsletters and automated campaigns.

To use it, you’d need a database (like Supabase/Postgres) where your user data lives. Since you're on Wordpress, this means...

Q: Love the tool, but Tier 2 project limits are a "buy-block" for solopreneurs

Hi Ajay! I’ve been following Dreamlit and I’m 50% through building my first course, with 3 more ventures in the pipeline.

I really want to jump in, but I’m struggling with the Tier 2 logic. Since 1 Project = 1 Database, having Tier 2 restricted to only 1 project (same as Tier 1) makes it hard to justify the upgrade when I have multiple small-scale ventures.

Most solopreneurs manage 2–4 projects....

A: Thanks for the note, and I’m really glad you’ve been following along.

On the AppSumo LTDs, we intentionally priced Tier 1/2 as heavily discounted starter tiers, so the project limits are part of what keeps those tiers such a steal. If you’re planning to run 2–4 projects/apps, Tier 3 is the intended fit — and candidly it’s still an excellent deal compared to the roughly equivalent Pro plan...

Q: Project volume vs Supabase databases

I’m a solo consultant who is launching about 3 different online courses (music, English, finance basics).

Therefore I will have 3 separate Supabase databases, under my same account.

Requirement: students of ‘music’ course shouldn’t be mixed with students of ‘finance’ course when they receive email newsletters. That would be confusing for them, and would be unprofessional.

In this scenario, how...

A: 1 project corresponds to 1 Supabase database. You can only connect 1 database per project in Dreamlit.

If you have 3 Supabase databases, it's 3 Dreamlit projects.
