[UPDATE ADDED] Can't get any support - non existent
ETA: since I left this review I have been contacted by Encharge and I've been able to make progress with setting up my account. I have upgraded my rating from 1 to 3 because of the support I have been offered.
I'm investing quite a lot of time into getting this set up because I really want to love this product. I'm hoping things will continue to improve.
_________ _________ _________ _________ _________
I can't get my account set up. I'm using webhooks to integrate with Thrivecart (because the native integration is only available on level 6, and I don't need much else from that level) but I have some questions about problems I'm having.
I requested to join their FB group but haven't been let in and it says there hasn't been any activity in there for the last month. Their FB page hasn't had activity since 2022, so that doesn't look promising.
I have tried the online chat. It says they will "reply in a few moments" but that was six hours ago. So I've sent an email to see if that gets a response, but I don't feel hopeful.
I have added two brand accounts and it looks like I can easily switch between the two, but sometimes when I make a change on one brand, like custom fields for example, it's switching to the other brand and adding things in the wrong place.
It's making it very hard for me to like this product and I haven't even tried to import my email list yet. I'm stuck at the first step and I've already spent a lot of time on this. Hope it isn't wasted.

Great tool for SaaS devs
I’ve had the chance to use a lot of email marketing tools over the years, and Encharge truly stands out from the crowd. The automations, segmentation, flows, and JavaScript tracking are executed exceptionally well. While many tools offer these features, Encharge's implementation feels incredibly thoughtful and user-friendly. I'm so impressed with the platform that I decided to stack an additional two tiers this time around.
Overall, it’s a lovely product with a powerful set of features. However, there are a few quirks and areas for improvement that I hope to see addressed.
One of my main concerns, and a common one among the AppSumo community, is the lack of transparency regarding the founders' long-term vision for the product. There seems to be a slow release update cadence, and as a marketing tool, it would be great to see them practice what they preach by sending out compelling monthly newsletters. This would not only showcase new features but also build trust and engagement with the community. A more proactive approach to communication would go a long way in reassuring us that the platform is actively being developed and improved upon.
Another area that could use some attention is the feedback board. The current tool they're using for feedback doesn't allow for auto-signup, which creates friction for users who want to submit suggestions. Making us create a new account just to provide feedback is a hassle and likely discourages users from sharing their thoughts. Improving this process would allow the team to get the valuable feedback they need to shape the product's future.
In conclusion, I'm very happy with Encharge and believe it has immense potential. My only real wish is for a faster and more transparent monthly update cadence. Overall, a great tool that I am excited to continue using.

Unable to setup account for months
16 Sept 25 - I have responded and provided the invoice as requested. Pls check. Thanks

I would rate 1 star for its customer support and if things changes, I will make amendments. It has been months since I purchased and there is a bug which upon redemption it kept hitting error and I have reached out to Encharge team and appsumo, appsumo did helped to follow up with Encharge but after 2 replies or so, Encharge simply stopped replying as for simple account setup which they could easily whitelist backend, they just couldnt get it fix and im still unable to use the app to date. Really disappointed

Automation powerhouse
I've been using Encharge since 2022 (bought the 2021 LTD) and I can't imagine using any other email software.
Let's just look at one tiny aspect of their Flow system for automations - the Wait step. In this one step, you have two options - wait for a specific period, and then wait for a specific time. These can be used alone or in unison. For the specific period, you can use minutes, hours, or days (and if you want to wait a day and a half, just put 36 hours). Then for specific time, you can choose which days of the week you'd like it to be delivered (say M-F) or a specific date in the future. And then you can choose a specific time on that day or a time range. And you can choose to have the time be calculated based on the subscriber's time zone, if available. All this detail in just one of the steps!
You can also drill into so much detail when choosing parameters for segments. I can make a segment of everyone who has clicked a particular link in my emails for the past 30 days, 60 days, etc. Then I can use all the other filters to make it even more refined - have they been on my list for a year? Do they already own the product (via product tag)? Did they ever click the link to stop getting a similar promo? Do they own a similar product?
It's just amazing the level of detail you get with this! It's like owning a Lego set that you can build into whatever configuration you need for a specific task.
I hope I can keep using it for decades to come.

Sep 11, 2025Hey, thank you so much for this incredible review 🙌
You explained the wait step better than we do in our docs 😅 And the Lego analogy is spot on… that’s exactly how we think of Flows: flexible pieces you can assemble into whatever automation you need.
We’re so grateful you’ve been with us since 2021, and it means the world to hear Encharge has become such a core part of your toolkit. Here’s to...
