Q: Current state of the tool and future direction
I love the concept of combining a DAM with guidelines and brand education. Before moving forward, I have a few questions about the current state of the tool and its future direction.
1. Are there working examples of brand guideline pages?
The only example I found was your own.
2. Beyond the 4 templates listed on your help page, are more templates in development?
I find the current options rather limited. More modern patterns (e.g. bento layouts) would be great. Here is an example: https://brandkity.com/demo
3. How much design control do users have over templates?
Can we change animations, fonts, font sizes, colors, spacing, or other design elements to maintain brand consistency? Is custom CSS supported?
4. Regarding the roadmap:
I requested access to the roadmap but haven’t heard back. Are new features planned?
Thanks!

Sep 16, 2026A: Hi Valyant,
Thanks so much for checking out Ethos.
We’re actively working on the next evolution of Ethos, including expanding the flexibility and design capabilities of brand guideline pages. The feedback around more modern layouts like bento-style sections is especially helpful and very much aligned with where we want to take the product.
On your questions:
1. Brand guideline examples: We’re working on adding more examples beyond our own brand so it’s easier to see what can be created with Ethos in practice.
2. Templates: Yes, expanding the template and layout options is something we’re looking at. I agree that the current selection is limited, and more modern, flexible layouts would make the platform much stronger.
3. Design control: There is customization available today, but we’re also looking at ways to give brands significantly more control over the presentation of their guidelines. The goal is to make sure the experience can feel like an extension of the brand rather than a generic template.
4. Roadmap: Apologies that you haven’t received a response to your roadmap request. We do have additional features and improvements planned, and I’d be happy to make sure you get more visibility into what we’re working on.
Thanks again for the detailed feedback. The Brandkity example is helpful as well. We’re currently investing in improving Ethos, so hearing exactly what would make the platform more useful for teams like yours is valuable.
Best,
Brian
