lutz.lowisQ: UTM Tracking with Sendfox integration: Where to enable this in Formrobin?
Dear FormRobins, according to the documentation, FormRobin will send UTM values to Sendfox when integrated with a list. I have successfully integrated a form so that the contacts show up in Sendfox. However, there are no UTM values. Internet search says I need to enable "UTM tracking" in the "marketing" section of the form options. I do not see such a section or option. Please advise. To clarify -- there is no "marketing section" or "UTM tracking" toggle in FormRobin's form settings. It sounds like the information you found online may have been inaccurate.
Here's how UTM tracking actually works in FormRobin: UTM parameters (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, etc.) are automatically captured when someone visits your form via a URL that contains them. You can view this source data in your form's response details on the FormRobin dashboard. However, this UTM data is not currently passed along to SendFox -- the SendFox integration sends the contact's email and name to your selected list, but not the UTM values.
If passing UTM data to SendFox is important for your workflow, one workaround would be to use the Zapier integration instead. With Zapier you have more control over which data fields get mapped, so you could potentially pass UTM values as custom fields.
We'd also love to hear this as a feature request at https://formrobin.com/feedback -- adding UTM data to the SendFox sync is a great idea.
